men’s
artistic
program (MAG)

Men’s artistic gymnastics (MAG) consists of performing skills on 6 different apparatuses: floor exercises, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and the horizontal bar.

It is a challenging sport that requires both physical and mental fortitude, as well as long training hours. Competitive gymnastics is a highly disciplined sport ; not only does it build fabulous athletes, but also strong characters who understand the importance of grit and perseverance.

BECOME A
COMPETITIVE ATHLETE

To join a competitive program, athletes must first participate in an assessment to ensure they are ready for the demands of the sport. These take place annually in the form of tryouts (typically in May). Individual assessments can also be booked on a case by case basis.

Although we wish we could accept all those interested, places are limited and are based on availability within each competitive stream. See our competitive program structure below.
