ODP Athletes Shine in Debut Competition

A Day to Remember!

Every gymnast's journey begins with their first competition. Their first time wearing their team jacket. Their first time getting their hair prepared and finally put on their competition leotard to show off the skills they have been working on.

Last weekend was the debut competition for a lot of our Ontario Development Program (ODP) athletes. We hosted a friendly competition on Sunday in front of parents, siblings and friends to showcase these incredible athletes.

This program puts the athletes skills to the test across multiple different physical tests to get them prepared for the competitive stream of gymnastics. From strength to flexibility and coordination and many crucial gymnastics movements.

Our Tumblers athletes showcased their skills beautifully and we could not be more proud of all of their hard work and dedication to their sport and to their training. We also want to thank EDGE Gymnastics for braving the storm and bringing your incredible athletes to our competition to showcase their hard work and skill.
